THE National Bank, Bettendorf, is seeking a Full-Time Credit Analyst.
General accountabilities of position:
Conducts credit investigations and analyzes financial statements; furnishes information in relation to credit inquiries; provides assistance to loan officers. Evaluates quality of commercial loans and recommends risk ratings based on borrower's financial strength and probability of loan repayment. Prepares applications for Loan Committee. Write summary of analysis and reason for recommending adverse risk rating. Evaluates information to determine if lending guidelines have been followed, compliance with banking regulations and documentation is complete and accurate.
Skills/education/experience required: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years' credit analyst experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

THE National Bank is looking for:
Full Time and Part Time Tellers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - Provides exceptional customer service by standing to welcome the customer, using the customer's name, taking responsibility for the customer, thanking the customer by name, and exceeding the customer's expectations. - Continues to build relationships with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business. - Adheres to all steps in the HPC program including distribution of Tell-A-Friend coupons, providing an explanation of the program and encouraging the customer's participation. - Performs all customer financial transactions in accordance with established procedures. Cashes checks, receives cash for deposit, verifies amounts, verifies customer balances and examines checks for appropriate signatures and endorsements. - Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts. - Places hold on accounts for uncollected funds. - Responsible for balancing currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and comparing totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Maintains appropriate cash levels in teller drawer in accordance with the security policy. Complies with the Teller Over and Short Procedure. - Process travelers checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks. - Protects and safeguards customer information and bank property. - Profiles new and existing customers to better serve their financial needs; informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account productivity. - Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open new account; ensures completeness of documentation on new account set-up. - Promptly responds to customer's inquiries and requests regarding account and suggests resolutions on account disputes and other account activity. - Refers customers to other areas of the bank such as Mortgage, Consumer Lending, etc. - Provides retail data to support marketing and sales promotion programs. - Generates new business to assist in meeting establishment profitability goals. - Adheres to all bank and regulatory requirements and participates in required training.
