Position Summary: The Mortgage Loan Production Assistant works for two experienced Mortgage Loan Consultants to facilitate file flow from loan origination to processing. They are responsible for verifying, compiling and typing application information for mortgage loans while ensuring applicable lending policies and procedures are followed. Other duties include interviewing loan applicants to document income, debt, and credit history, requesting documents such as income tax return, bank account number, purchase agreement, and property description, for verification, informing applicant of closing costs such as appraisal, credit report, and notary fees and answering applicant's questions. They also assist the Consultants with Marketing efforts and database management.

Qualifications: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Publisher and PhotoShop software a plus.
